Clock (Hulu) with Alexis Jacknow

Updated: May 3, 2023

FilmmakerAlexis Jacknow joins the pod to discuss her feature film Clock, which premiers on Hulu April 28th. Clock, written and directed by Alexis, is a body-horror thriller about a woman who joins a clinical trial in order to fix her “broken” biological clock. We discuss the film’s multi-layered symbolism, Jewish themes, and filming with a live tarantula. And just when you'd least expect it, we jam about Eurovision's Oscar snub.
